CHIPPEWA CRAFT SPIRITS

Kurt and Jim spend their free time traveling the world with a quest to find and sample many varieties of spirits. Their goal is to use their imbibing experiences to create and distill the finest of high-end spirits to bring to you.

One such journey led Kurt to the famous Black Forest of Germany. In ancient times the Black Forest was named after Abnoba, a forest and river goddess. While Kurt probably wasn’t looking for a goddess in the forest, he did stumble across something even better – a small family-owned distillery.  Some of the fine spirits he tasted there became the inspiration for the Schnapps we now bring to you.
